Top 20 Before & Afters of All Time: #4 A Reclaimed Traditional Brick Foreclosure

by Grace Bonney

When I started Design*Sponge, makeovers had a much simpler feel and we weren’t yet used to the large-scale “ta-da!” reveals that HGTV has helped make us all more accustomed to. So over time, I’ve seen our Before & After column at Design*Sponge move from pretty basic DIY (and small-scale) projects, to huge full-home makeovers that involve new floors, walls, furniture and lighting. I love both ends of the makeover spectrum and today we’re celebrating the #4 spot on our makeover countdown with a project that tackles a full home, from top to bottom. I hope you’ll enjoy this makeover from North Carolina that we first ran back in 2015! xo, Grace
