Top 20 Home Tours of All Time: #9 A Pastor’s Victorian Farmhouse in Portland

by Grace Bonney

Now that we’ve made it to the Top 10 posts of all time, I’m starting to feel really emotional about watching these finalists fly by. So many of these home tours, DIYs and makeovers come from totally different eras of Design*Sponge, and have been such a bittersweet trip down memory lane as I reflect back on who was writing here during that time, where we were working, and what we didn’t know was just around the corner. Today we’re revisiting one of my favorite home tours from D*S history, and it’s no surprise that this colorful Portland home made it to the Top 10. Josh and Darcy White’s home has beautiful wallpaper, an adorable dog, and the COOLEST tiled bathroom made with Mexican tiles that the family found on eBay. I hope you’ll enjoy this trip down memory lane as much as I did! xo, Grace

  • What a beautiful place! I simply adore the chandelier – I have never seen one so quirky! The use of colours throughout this home is simply amazing. xxx
