I am someone who puts themselves firmly in the “no nuts” camp, when it comes to desserts. But for some reason, this dessert recipe has been one of my all-time favorites because the photos are so darn beautiful.
Cookbook author Ellise Pierce’s recipe for Pecan Salty Caramel Tartelettes takes the #15 spot in our Top 20 Recipes of All Time Countdown. These delicious mini tarts are perfect for any event (or just a regular Wednesday night) and can be dressed up for the fanciest of occasions. They are decadent, but also so neat and tidy, and the way that Ellise photographed them here always reminds me of something my Mom would make and serve with an antique silver pie server.
