Top 20 Before & Afters of All Time: #17 A 188-Square-Foot Camper Makeover

by Grace Bonney

Florida couple Mandy Fierens and Kevin Holesh are taking the #17 spot in our Design*Sponge Top 20 Before & Afters of All Time countdown. Their decision to embrace life in a 188-square-foot remodeled camper (which you can follow on Instagram) captured the hearts of so many people reading and represented a larger trend of people embracing smaller spaces that were more portable, over investing in traditional houses. We saw so many incredible converted buses, trailers, and so many campers over the years and every single one made me want to hit the open road with our pets and see the world (which is actually what I’m planning to do for my 40th birthday in a few years — rent an RV and go across the country visiting national parks!). xo, Grace
