Top 20 Before & Afters of All Time: #15 A Seattle Airstream Makeover

by Grace Bonney

For Natasha Lawyer and Brett Bashaw, renovating and living in a 1972 31-foot Airstream Sovereign was part of a shared desire to see the country. So they bought this beauty and gut renovated it from the ground up. The final result comes in at #15 on our Design*Sponge Top Before & Afters of All Time countdown.

I love this project because it keeps things simple and clean and focuses on a few patterns and details that really shine in such a small space. It doesn’t take much to make me want to hit the road and see the rest of the country, so this project has me itching to rent something and start driving. xo, Grace
