Top 20 Before & Afters of All Time: #14 A BoHo Fixer-Upper in Southern California

by Grace Bonney

If there’s one term I keep seeing pop up in our Top 20 countdowns, it’s “BoHo.” This style seems to have swept the past decade of design online more than even the “Put a Bird on it” moment of 2010-2011 or the “Keep Calm” craze of the early 2000s. Bohemian-inspired style feels like it’s here to stay for a while longer (most things in design are cyclical anyway) and for me, I’m just glad when any trend, style, or moment inspires people to make their space feel special and create something that makes them happy. So whether your style is Boho or Moho or minimalist or maximalist, I hope homes like these will keep inspiring all of you to create spaces that make you happy and feel at home. xo, Grace

*Also, this home’s amazing tiled bathroom is a must-see.
