Checking In: The Golden Girls Suite

by Lauren Chorpening

The Golden Girls always remind me of summertime in my childhood. Reruns would play every weekday morning and my sister and I would usually start the day lounging with Dorothy, Sophia, Blanche and Rose before going outside or to the pool. Looking back on the set design of The Golden Girls, it so neat to see the cyclical nature of interior style and how a lot of the pieces they had in their home are still available today. The GG suite is outfitted with modern twists on mu-mus, rattan and tropical design to pay homage to the show that made them cool 30 years ago. Put on a floor-length robe and grab a slice of cheesecake — you’re checking into The Golden Girls Suite. —Lauren
