Day 5: Pattern Downloads by Marina Dunbar

by Caitlin Kelch

Our final pattern download from artist Marina Dunbar combines two colors Team Design*Sponge is quite fond of — pink and green. While these colors generally conjure up preppy images of polo shirts and croquet, Marina’s palette takes us to a much more ethereal place filled with liquid moments and sprays of gossamer. We are so thankful that Marina shared her work with us in a way that helps us cut the digital life with a much needed dose of pure and transformative art. Links to download this image for your desktop or device wallpaper are below, along with links to Days 1 – 4 in case you missed them.

To learn more about Marina and her process (it’s fascinating), visit her website. You can also catch her at work in her beautiful art studio in our Studio Tour of her creative space. Thanks again, Marina!

You can download today’s patterns here (vertical) and here (horizontal). Please note these are for personal use only!

Design*Sponge reserves the right to restrict comments that do not contribute constructively to the conversation at hand, that comment on people's physical appearance, contain profanity, personal attacks, hate speech or seek to promote a personal or unrelated business. Our goal is to create a safe space where everyone (commenters, subjects of posts and moderators) feels comfortable to speak. Please treat others the way you would like to be treated and be willing to take responsibility for the impact your words may have on others. Disagreement, differences of opinion and heated discussion are welcome, but comments that do not seek to have a mature and constructive dialogue will not be published. We moderate all comments with great care and do not delete any lightly. Please note that our team (writers, moderators and guests) deserve the same right to speak and respond as you do, and your comments may be responded to or disagreed with. These guidelines help us maintain a safe space and work toward our goal of connecting with and learning from each other.
