When I was a kid, my grandparents always sent us a box of fruit from Harry & David. Sometimes it would be grapefruit, sometimes pears. It was always a highlight because I knew that it was selected with so much love. They knew just how much we loved those boxes of fruit and savored each selection. I’ve gone on to send gifts to friends and family in a similar manner: ice cream, magazine subscriptions to issues I knew they wouldn’t treat themselves to, and music-of-the-month clubs. I picture their faces when a new gift arrives each month, welcoming them home from a long day.
I’ve rounded up items from food to educational services for kids to monthly boxes for dogs. I hope you have as much fun looking through everything as I did. Enjoy! —
