Artwork by Sonal Nathwani + Best of the Web

One of the things I love most about Instagram is being able to peek inside the day-to-day lives of artists and makers. As much as I love a beautiful “finished” shot of a painting or final piece of furniture, I love catching little peeks into their unfinished and process moments even more. So when artist Katherine Jury sent me a link to painter and surface designer Sonal Nathwani’s feed, I was instantly smitten. Her floral sketchbook updates have been my favorite source of inspiration all week. The vivid pinks, reds and blues she uses are so gorgeous and the little moments of texture and gesture you get via these notebook pages are amazing. If you need some bright color and floral inspiration for the weekend, be sure to check out Sonal’s feed. I’ve bookmarked almost all of these for dream color palette inspiration. xo, grace
