Giveaway: Folding Coffee Table

by Garrett Fleming

Exclusive Giveaway: Folding Coffee Table, Design*Sponge
Thanks to a booming Kickstarter campaign, designer and woodworker Collin Garrity is bringing to life one of his greatest visions: an easy-to-use coffee table “with the strength, beauty and quality of an heirloom.” His stellar-looking design is made of durable, Missouri Black Walnut and White Oak and miraculously takes less than a minute to unfold. What I love most about the creation, though – besides its sleek look – is how well it works both inside and outside of a home. Leave it in the living room, and it’s a stylish side table. Pop it into your trunk, and picnics in the park are a breeze. All in all, it’s a fabulous piece and we’re so pleased to give it away to one of our readers!

Click here to enter before midnight Central Time on June 15th. Collin will then contact one special fan who gets to bring home his design! To learn more about how the table works and to take a closer look inside the studio where Collin will craft the handmade prize, follow the jump. Enjoy! —Garrett

  • Kudos! What a gorgeous table! Beautiful wood, and it looks so easy to use! I would love to see that table move from my living/family room to the deck to the car for picnics and tailgates! Thank you for the opportunity!

  • What a wonderful piece of furniture! And the best part is that it is super multi functional Thanks so much for a chance to win! Lisa@ Sweet Tea N’ Salty Air

    • Hey Nikki, Collin Garrity here,
my smaller products are sold around the country (there’s a list at collingarrity.com) but Furniture is new for me, and the only place to get it (at a steal) is my kickstarter: collingarrity.com/kickstarter. thanks!

  • Thanks for the introduction of this artist. What beautiful work! I have bookmarked his work for later acquisitions of his stuff!

  • This is such a brilliant idea, and so well executed too. I kind of hate it when I have to bring out my plastic folding table for extra surface space, so this is such a great alternative.

  • I grew up with folding coffee tables at my relatives’ homes in Hawaii and have been searching for one on the mainland for ages. This would fill that gaping hole (in my home and my nostalgic heart).
