Free Pattern from Alea Toussaint + Best of the Web

by Grace Bonney

It’s been such a treat this week to have artist and designer Alea Toussaint at DS, sharing custom, handmade patterns with all of us. Alea has kindly offered to continue through the weekend, so tune in tomorrow and Sunday for two more free downloadable patterns for your computer and phone backgrounds! To download today’s pink floral pattern from Alea, CLICK HERE. Julia and I are off to visit her family for Passover, so I’m closing up the laptop early today. Best wishes for a safe and happy holiday this weekend to anyone and everyone celebrating. xo, grace

Below is a summary of this week’s highlights from DS and around the web:

Suggested For You

  • I love these wallpapers! I saw on a few of the posts that they’re intended for personal use only, but I wanted to ask if “personal use” includes use on a personal (non-commercial) website. (If yes, happy to credit the designer!) If you could let me know, that would be great.

    • Hi Anna

Because the copyright belongs to the designer, these should not be used as blog headers, logos, etc. You’re welcome to post about them (just please credit the artist), but please don’t re-use them as blog identity or branding elements (those are things you’d need to hire/pay the artist for).
