Dispatches from Japan: Day 4
After three days of Ayumi Horie‘s breathtaking photos from Japan, I’m convinced that I need to start a little savings fund to eventually travel there one day. Between the tiny deer and blooming cherry trees, it looks like heaven. Today Ayumi is sharing more photos from her trip, including these beautiful Meoto Iwa, or the “married couple” rocks (below) on the coast of Japan. xo, grace

Grace, you should go to Japan because you’re going to love the food and shopping—clothes (your size! free hemming!), stationery items, umbrellas, bike accessories, etc.
It’s true! You can’t take a step without running into a beautiful something or other.
I LOVE Japan! I have been a several times but never when the sakura were blooming!! I can’t wait to see for myself :)
xx
It’s magical! The whole country pauses to experience them and if you don’t catch them in one place, they’re probably blooming up in the mountains or further north. There are cherry blossom reports.
I missed the intro to this series…but I LOVE it. and would love to see a regular column like this on D*S
These are so amazing! Ayumi is such a wonderful photographer!! I 100% agree with Kiki
