Sights and Sounds To Start Your Fall Weekend

As the year begins to whittle down and the sun starts to set earlier and earlier each day, it’s easy to find yourself in the midst of an autumnal slump. When the chilly air and dark skies start to get me down, though, I’ve found that embracing the darkness helps to shake myself out of any funk. This season is full of dark romance, after all, from dead leaves crackling underfoot to mysterious beasts hooting in the night. It’s the time of year when I start craving hot cider with whiskey, chunky oversized sweaters and dim, candlelit dinners. If any of that sounds like your idea of a good time, I’ve got some beautiful images and good tunes to get you in the mood for your own fall weekend. Cheers! —Max
