The Work Essentials from Sight Unseen

by Amy Azzarito

Our friends at Sight Unseen just partnered with Detroit-based Shinola- maker of leather goods, watches and office accessories – and launched a new series highlighting creative women and asking each one of them to divulge their professional essentials. These must-haves include everything from favorite magazine, to studio soundtrack to favorite gifts (Get ready to start taking notes!). They started the series with lighting designer Bec Brittain, maker of breathtaking statement lighting pieces (and whose favorite travel accessory is a pretty strange but awesome guitar-shaped pillow that apparently makes it possible to actually sleep on a plane). Read the full stories on Sight Unseen (here and here) and if you’re in New York, you can visit the Shinola flagship in Tribeca to shop the essentials. -Amy
