Morning guys! My brain is still reeling from yesterday’s font day — thank you so much for all of the kind emails and tweets about the roundups, videos and font contest (I hope you’ll take a crack at designing your own alphabet!). I’m so glad you enjoyed them! We all had fun switching gears for a day to talk about such a different topic. But today it’s back to home design and I’m thrilled to start with two great posts from Design*Sponge editors Kate Pruitt and Amy Azzarito. Kate is taking over for me at MyLifeScoop and is kicking off her new series there with a great post on minimalist tech accessories made from natural materials (wood, leather, etc.). She’s chosen 25 of her favorites (I love that USB plug above) and you can check them all out right here. Kate picked everything from clocks and flashlights to bags and turntables, so I hope you’ll find something that suits your style.
And if plaid is more your style, Amy Azzarito has a new post up on the D*S blog at Currency. She’s talking about plaid from the runway to your home and rounding up 5 of her favorite plaid home decor pieces under $50. If you’d like to add something cozy and plaid to your home, click here to check out the full post.
