Emily Jeffords’ Paint Palettes

by Grace Bonney

Sometimes when I need a little inspiration, I head over to Instagram and scroll through hashtags devoted to painter’s palettes. Seeing color palettes develop and getting to look at close-up brushstroke textures is such a joy. And artist Emily Jeffords realized that joy and turned it into a stunning new calendar that highlights some of her favorite palette prints. From deep colors and peaches to an ocean of grey, blue and green sea-tones, Emily’s detailed photos capture the beauty of palettes in a way that I have always wanted to see celebrated. Whether you’re looking for a new calendar or just wanting to relish in the lushness of these colorful palettes, click here to check out Emily’s new calendar and her work online. xo, grace
