Evergreen: 11 Greens to Carry You Through Winter

by Erin Austen Abbott

Evergreen Round Up on Design*Sponge

I am a complete sucker for greens. Mint green, Kelly green, grass green and certainly evergreen. Something about its ability to contrast so well against different shades of grey, light blue, pink, and white… it draws me in right away. It’s such a cozy and calming color and while it does make us think more of the winter months, I think evergreen and forest green have some real lasting, year-round standing power. I hope you enjoy this product roundup as much as I enjoyed finding all these items to share with you. —Erin

  • Love a good leaf print. Part of me would love a wall of william morris greenery in my room and part of me is worried that I would go cross eyed staring at it

    • Sorry…I found the name when I saw the keys…by Cole & Son, Fornasetti motifs, Chiavi Segrete 97/4014. Thank you for the intro to one of the most stunning wallpapers I’ve seen.

  • I included Green as one of the hottest 2016 trends for kitchens as well. It is a uplifting color that goes well with many hues even in unusual combinations like blu/green and pink/green.

  • Just painted my guest room Farrow and Ball Smoke Green and ordered Cole and Sons Flourencecourt so I’m feeling very validated, thank you!
