13 Spotted & Stylish Rooms

by Lauren Chorpening

There is something so simple yet so striking about polka dots in interiors. Because most elements of a room are linear, adding round shapes and edges can break up the boxiness of walls, furniture, doorways, rugs, etc. Polka dots are a fun way to do exactly that on walls, textiles, accessories or even floors. Dots also allow for some scale-diversity in a space, and we’ve seen several unique ways to incorporate the polka dot pattern in Design*Sponge Sneak Peeks and posts over the years. Look through 13 of our favorite rooms that feature the polka dot in a cool, sophisticated way. –Lauren
