Behind the Bar: Peach Margarita

Kathryn McCrary Photography Jenn Gietzen Write On Design Project Sip July Peaches_0012
I don’t know if there’s anything that screams “summer” more than a peach, and when the peach is given a little margarita magic, it’s pretty much a party. Photographer Kathryn McCrary paired with designer Jenn Gietzen to start “Project Sip”.  They wanted to create delicious cocktails with five or less ingredients, focusing on seasonal elements and flavors. They hope  to create a collection of drinks celebrating the seasons throughout the year. This peach margarita is the first, of hopefully, many more to come. This is certainly one summer cocktail that is guaranteed to take any backyard cookout up a couple of notches. So hurry and get those peaches while you can! –Amy

Tbis sounds way better than the glass of wine I was planning on having.

  4. Yum! I love the use of agave nectar to sweeten it and fresh, pureed peaches.
