Sights and Sounds for Your Weekend

August is quickly approaching and I’m about due for my annual Where-Did-The-Season-Go? midsummer crisis. It’s about this time that I realize I only have a month left to get all my exploring, hiking, swimming, and overall adventuring done. If there’s any sort of mood I’ve been in over the past few weeks, it’s restless—restless to get out in the open, restless for midnight drives, and restless to see what the rest of the season has in store. Right now, I’ve got the weekend ahead of me and I’m armed with some beautiful photos and heavy-rotation tunes for inspiration. Here’s hoping that they inspire your weekend adventures, too! —Max

Maaaaxxx!!! Can’t tell you how much I appreciate these posts. Mid-summer crisis is official, but these beats and beautiful images are doing their part to slow it all down. Didn’t have a chance to compliment to your last sights + sounds, so thanks x2.

    1. Sara— I’m glad you like ’em! It’s fun putting them together and it’s nice to know people are listening/looking! :)

  2. I looove that Bleachers song! Here in San Diego we feel like we’re still waiting for “Summer” to get here… June Gloom has encroached into July too! I’m so ready for the August heat and beach days!
