I have lived by this rule for many years and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. Morris is my number 1 hero.
William Morris is fascinating. I took a class on the Arts & Crafts movement last year and got to see a copy of his Kelmscott Chaucer in person at my school’s library! The level of detail and quality of the printing was astounding. It seems like he literally worked himself to death making beautiful things.
i use this mantra every day …….and spend a lot of time trying to realise others should try to too :)
I love this quote! Yes!
