Best of the Web

It’s finally Friday and nothing seems more appealing right now than sinking into one of these huge wool-covered beanbags from Donna Wilson. All of Donna’s pattern work has the sort of “just sink into the couch and enjoy some cocoa” feel that I love. But these new bright colors feel a bit more spring and summer. If you want to try your hand DIY-ing something on your own this weekend, Max did a quick and easy block-printed beanbag cover that might be just the ticket. Either way, I feel some downtime in my future this weekend, so here’s wishing you all a relaxing weekend. See you next week! xo, grace

  • Thanks for the link to Julia’s article. My mom and I have both struggled with this so I shared it with her and we both really enjoyed reading it.

  • The inspiration from Julia’s article was exactly what I needed this week. The story of her journey has reminded me that what feels so impossible can be overcome with determination. (But the power to throw away the bombolone- now that is super-human!) Many thanks to Julia for her insights!
