10 Second Studio Tour with Primitive Reserve

Designer Rochelle Chavez of Primitive Reserve designs some of the most beautiful cutting boards, furniture and home accessories around. Rochelle left her job as an art director behind in order to follow her passion for woodworking. Now she spends her days creating pieces that she loves from her California studio. Rochelle was kind enough to share a peek inside her Studio City cottage last year and today we’re getting a glimpse inside the space where all the magic happens: her studio. From beautiful rows of tools to delicate piles of wood shavings, Rochelle’s photos of her space have the sort of intimacy and character that I always crave from a behind-the-scenes peek. I love getting to see where she makes her work and seeing little bits of inspiration and notes of encouragement mixed in. Thank you so much to Rochelle for sharing this tour with us – you can follow her here on Instagram and check out more of her work here. xo, grace

  1. I love seeing that there are still those who practice woodworking (especially a woman). Thanks for the peek inside and the inspiration.
