10 Favorite Things

Katie Rodgers of Paper Fashion’s 10 Favorite Things

by Grace Bonney

Today I’m excited to get a chance to celebrate two of my favorite people on Instagram. One is an incredible photographer and the other – and the first up today – is a wildly talented artist named Katie Rodgers of Paper Fashion. If you are a fan of fashion, you’re probably already familiar with Katie’s work. She creates breathtaking watercolor versions of cutting-edge fashion, adding embellishments like sequins and glitter for tremendous effect. Katie made me fall back in love with fashion and the art behind it all. Her paintings remind me of all the glamor and skill that go into creating a single garment and getting to see more of her world today makes me so happy. Today Katie is sharing 10 of her Favorite Things, from books and lipstick to patterns (constellations!) and accessories, her favorites are just as inspiring as the work she creates. Thanks so much to Katie for taking the time to share these with us! xo, grace
