  • Wow, I had no idea about the history of camouflage. I’m not usually one for this pattern, but knowing that it was developed by an artist (even if for the purpose of warfare) makes me appreciate it a bit more.

  • I’ve always associates camouflage with warfare/violence and for this reason I’ve come to hate it. However, if it is decontextualized by using bright fashionable colors it acquires a humorous tone, emphasizing the ridiculousness of War.
