Name: Scabiosa

Also known as: Pincushion flowers

Growing details: Typically grown by seed, scabiosa flowers thrive in temperate climates with direct sunlight and nutrient-rich soil. Scabiosas require infrequent watering—only about once a week if there is no rain.

Additional info: Because of their rich nectar, scabiosas are great for attracting butterflies.
