19 Modern Serving Platters, Plates and Trays

by Grace Bonney

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and for a lot of us, that means cooking, entertaining or preparing some sort of meal. I grew up with a few special “holiday themed” serving pieces, but I’ve always preferred to buy pieces that are simple enough to be used throughout the year. So to prepare for the holidays coming up, I rounded up 19 great serving trays and platters (stay tuned for bowls and stands tomorrow!) that would look beautiful with a holiday turkey (or Tofurkey) on them. Whether you’re cooking for two or twenty two, hopefully there will be something in the mix that works for your celebration. I have a feeling that black faux-bois piece might need to be a part of my entertaining staple. It would be beautiful to show off a ruby-red cranberry chutney. Happy (almost) Holidays! xo, grace
