Amy’s Fall Obsessions

We’re rounding the corner into my absolute favorite time of the year. I may not be going back to school, but fall will always feel full of possibilities to me. I always make a huge list of the things I hope to accomplish – this year on the list is: take a class at the Textile Arts Center, start learning Spanish, learn about scotch… it’s a long list.  I also want to stop stressing about what I’m going to wear each morning and create a uniform for myself. I’ve decided that everything should be black and I’ve been obsessed with adding a little more black into both my house and my wardrobe. I already have a lot of color in my home (pink coffee table!) and I plan to add a little sparkle into my wardrobe with jewelry. Bring on the crisp weather! –Amy

  2. Margaret says:

I love this! I come up with a theme every season. Last fall was “Act Like an Adult Autumn” it included things like – Just take a Compliment Already, Get Your Finances in Order, Maybe You Should Start Building Credit, Please Finish Painting those Two Other Walls in Your Room, and more. This year I’m going “Back to School” with new classes, a reading list, and actually doing work on some creative projects on the shelf! I love that your list of fall goals also includes some material inspiration.

  3. Alice says:

    Ahh, I want everything!

  4. Can’t wait for fall either. Love the look of crisp black and white.

  5. Very glad to see a little fashion on this site finally! And yes to black. Always more black.

  6. Jennifer says:

    That tuxedo jacket! Love it!

  7. Rachel says:

I love that watch. I’ve been looking for something with a dainty little strap, this one is perfect!

  8. I have been obsessing over black lately as well. Painting a room or at least a wall black in our new apartment has become my mission. Oh, and those boots… *swoon*

  9. Nicole says:

Love it all! I worry sometimes that I rely too heavily on black, but today I feel validated. :) Wish I had buckets of money so I could buy the Helmut Lang jacket–love at first sight.

    1. Amy Azzarito says:

Nicole – The Helmut Lang jacket is a little too rich for my blood too. I’m hoping that I spot it on sale at some point (Grace found one on sale!). In the meantime, I just snatched up this version – xoAmy
