Eyes by Michelle Quan

dsc_0088a
I’m a huge fan of Michelle Quan‘s stoneware. I saved up for ages to buy one of her hanging bells and now have my eyes on (no pun intended) these incredible eye platters and eye sculptures at The Future Perfect. Each of Michelle’s pieces is wheel thrown and hand-painted on a white Terra Sigilatta base, which contrasts so nicely with the black lines she uses in her eye detailing. I can’t get enough of that clay-white and black contrast these days, so these are definitely going on my wishlist for “one day” purchases. Click here and here to check them out online from The Future Perfect. xo, grace

I can absolutely see what you mean! Beautiful!
I have seen more and more designs where there is just lines and contrast and it just works amazing.
