10 Best White Lamps

I have a beautiful alabaster bedside lamp that found a few years at one of those flea markets with stall, after stall and lots of junk. I spotted the lamp across the store, and it was a love at first sight sort of thing. But then I got two cats and in the six years that I’ve had these two cats, they’ve so frequently knocked over this one lamp that it has to be propped up against the wall to stand. I’ve finally come to terms with the fact that I might need to think of a replacement option. But with the weather in New York scorching hot. I’m staying away from my usual safe black and looking for some white options. My current favorite is the #2 above. It has the look of a jielde lamp and seems sturdy enough to withstand those late night cat rampages.  –Amy

  1. The Ion Lamp is my favorite here! Fun and playful but still sophisticated. I can think of a million uses…office desk, bedside table, under a dark kitchen cabinet…very versatile!

I still don’t understand why lamps are so expensive! I’ve been trying to find a lamp for under $40 that isn’t boring and hideous, and it’s a fool’s errand :/
