Soe Cups + Ikebana Bowls

I love the idea of turning any simple vessel into a way to display flowers. While I’m not well versed in the details of Ikebana, I understand and appreciate the basic concept, and love the way these Ikebana Bowls from designer Hanna Kruse encourage you to explore more horizontal arrangements in that style. In addition to her grid-topped Ikebana Bowls, Hanna also designed a series of smaller Soe Cups that showcase flowers or other odds and ends in creative ways. Her work was most recently on display at Tom Dixon’s Most Exhibition in Milan, but you can view it in more detail right here. I love simple pieces like this- they really make even the humblest single flower look beautiful and elegant. xo, grace

These are so pretty. This would be great to do with rubber bands on different bowls.
