I really think the color of the day is super cool. I love learning how colors got their names…trust me I would never imagine magenta came from a battle. thanks so much for sharing this great info!
I am Magenta! It is my signature color! I have a magenta phone case, lots of magenta shirts and dresses. BEST color EVER!
My daughter who is 4, her name is “Magenta” – right on trend!!
When I was in second grade, my teacher allowed us out of the classroom at the end of the day by calling a color that we may have had on. i had a magenta long sleeved knit top and slacks which had another color on it but I can’t remember what it was. She never called magenta and called numerous other colors that may have been somewhat like it. So I was the last child sitting in the classroom and she asked me why I hadn’t left yet. I told her, you did not call magenta. She looked at me puzzled and I supposed she wondered what color she called that she thought it was. I am 59 and still remember the day like it was yesterday.
I love colur of the day – couldn’t you maby make the as posters or small prints – there is at least 5 i would love to buy!
