Dip Dye Placemat

by Grace Bonney

We’ve been working on a few spring-themed entertaining projects for D*S, and I’ve got placemats on the brain. After brainstorming a million ways to make custom DIY versions, I keep finding myself researching cute pre-made options online. During my search I came across these cute new placemats at Leif that have a soft watercolor feel. The top two ($8) are my favorite (made with a dip dye ombré technique), but the brushstroke style below ($8) is beautiful, too. It may not be spring yet, but these colors are reminding me that warmer days and spring flowers are around the corner. xo, grace

  • These are great. I’m picturing them at a really chic easter brunch. It’s not spring yet, but here’s hoping that groundhog got it right this year! the 50 degree weather we’re supposed to have on the east coast makes my early spring fantasy almost believable!

  • I’m not into spring mode already as I just went playing in the snow today (and there’s LOTS of it around here in Quebec!) but these placemats are lovely! Especially the blue dip dyed one! I’m lokking forward to your spring themed DIYs! :)
