Donna Wilson Trays

by Grace Bonney

Last night, we threw a fantastically over-the-top girly New Year’s party at the D*S offices (the full recap and decorating how-tos will be up next Monday!), and to prep, we gathered more serving trays, stands and vessels than I’ve seen in ages. Max ran all around town looking for anything with a touch of pink, so I’ve mentally been shopping for serving pieces for weeks now. These patterned trays from Donna Wilson weren’t right for our party, but they would be right for just about any other occasion. Inspired by the shapes of storybook medieval castles, Donna designed each using laminated birch from Sweden and a range of bright colors. Each tray measures 15 inches wide and would look cute in-use on a table or hung as a decoration. If you’re looking for a last-minute gift and live in Gretel’s delivery range, you can still get these guys in time for Christmas. Click here to check them out in┬ámore detail and place an order. xo, grace
