Thanksgiving Table: Alder & Co

To celebrate Thanksgiving this year, we’ve invited some of our favorite artists, designers, shop owners and tastemakers to create a Thanksgiving table setting with some of their favorite objects and styles. Each day this week, we’ve shown you one of these fabulous tables. Today’s Thanksgiving table comes from Alder & Co, a Portland-based shop specializing in beautiful everyday items. At once elegant and eclectic, Alder & Co’s table offers an attainable and effortlessly stylish look for the holidays. Tune in next week for another five table settings! — Max

As we are both vegetarians, Thanksgiving centers around family, friends and bubbly, and of course we eat our vegetables :) The vision for our table is the same vision we have in the store: use beautiful items that are locally made or found on our travels in the US or abroad. We know and love many of the artists we feature, which makes the table a story about our friends as well as the items they create. We love the tradition of this holiday, and we want our table to be welcoming for all those we are so thankful to have in our lives.
