Modern Advent Calendar from Mini-Eco

I never used advent calendars growing up, but I loved going into the homes of friends who did. The idea of a little surprise opening up for every day seems so fun and festive for the holidays. Shops are full of traditional styles, but this fun modern DIY version from Mini-Eco is so clever. Kate at Mini-Eco is sharing a full DIY tutorial for making your own folded-paper version that you can hang from the wall using colored string. It’s definitely a departure from traditional holiday styles, but it stays true to the spirit of something fun and surprising every day. That is a super cute idea! I love that you could do it on any combination of colored papers to fit your own holiday decor.

  3. cute! I didn’t grow up with advent either. Now having kids I’m happy to introduce it to them. I made our calendar earlier this week.
