Over the weekend, I flew to Finland (eeeek!). It’s a trip that I planned at the beginning of the summer, both to check out design week and to support a friend whose documentary about Finland is premiering here. Today we’re taking an overnight train to Lapland to see where she filmed. It’s going to be the farthest north I’ve ever been, and I’m desperately hoping to see the northern lights. It’s hard for me to imagine that I’ll make it back here, so it feels like my one chance. Either way, I’m sure I’ll see some magical stars. Not that I needed the Lapland excuse, but it certainly inspired this star roundup. Ok, now for that overnight train. I’ll be back to tell you about the stars in a week. — Amy Azzarito
