design*sponge curated sale at insound

by Grace Bonney

I’m taking a quick design break this morning to share a link to a little sale I curated over at Insound, a Brooklyn-based music e-store. While design is what I spend most of my days writing about, music is a huge passion of mine and a very big part of my life. I was a college radio DJ and worked for a record label right out of college, so to be able to step back into this world for a moment and celebrate my favorite bands is such a treat.

For today’s sale, I chose 15 of my favorite albums from bands like Screaming Females, Superchunk, Grimes, AC Newman and more. Whether you’re a music lover or not, I hope you’ll check them out and see if any of them sound like fun to you. Each of the albums I picked will be 15% off through September 3rd, so I hope you’ll give them a spin. Here’s to afternoon dance music breaks and discovering great new bands . . . xo, grace

*I’m not receiving any percentage of these sales, this is purely to celebrate the bands I love.
