kilim cubes

I have a really hard time resisting saturated colors. The over-dyed rug frenzy of the past year or two was nearly impossible for me to avoid, but thankfully the price points kept me away. But now people seem to be making smaller pieces out of remnants, and I’m becoming tempted again. These little cube seats at ABC Home are made from a combination of 60- to 70-year-old Anatolian grain sacks, room dividers, kilims and rugs. I love how rich the colors are — they remind me of vivid eye shadows (which I sometimes buy for the colors and never actually use for their intended purpose). Each of these cubes is one-of-a-kind, so click here to check them out and find more information online. xo, grace

I think that saturated yellow color would be great for my mental health. Beautiful!

These are beautiful. I love how they are a lot less of a commitment than a floor rug. And you can move them from room to room as your moods change. Perfect.
