stone and agate finials

I am nothing if not my mother’s daughter, so when my eyes drift toward accessories like finials, I can practically hear her voice in my head. While my mom and I share a great love of design and decorating, our styles don’t always overlap. However, I have a feeling that these stone, gem and agate finials might yield some common ground. Normally finials feel overly fancy and fussy to me, but something about the rough cuts of these stones and gems feels more approachable and younger. I mean, if you’re going to go to the trouble of decorating this tiny bit of your lamp, you might as well have it suit the rest of your style, right? Weego Home has a huge selection of these finials in stock, starting around $65 each. So if you’re looking for something to top off your favorite lamp, click here to shop the series online. xo, grace

Beautiful color! These are absolutely stunning!

  2. So pretty – what a great way to incorporate a natural element in your home.

Just in case you aren’t keen on spending upwards of $65 for one of these beauties, the same finial bases (brass, with prongs) are available at craft stores and online for about $4 each. One source:–lacquered-finish

Mineral specimens are even easier to find, of course.

Thanks for the inspiration, Grace! I think I may whip up a pair this weekend!
