the textile arts center’s new online shop!

by Amy Azzarito

The Textile Arts Center was founded in Brooklyn in 2009 (they now have a Manhattan outpost) to support all manner of fiber artists — from the serious to the novice — via classes, workshops, events and specialty programs like the Artist Residency and Sewing Seeds. And now, retail! Their new online shop is filled with all things fibers arts: DIY kits, materials and a carefully curated selection of handmade accessories, apparel and home goods by favorite artisans and designers. I’m lusting after that bike basket created by artist Carmen Artigas. You can find everything in the collage above right here. — Amy Azzarito
