dombon-a-tanya’s platter of friendship

by Grace Bonney

I love any design that encourages people to connect and engage with food more often. I’m someone who associates food with happiness, so these sorts of clever designs are always my favorite. Budapest’s Dombon-a-tanya recently released this simple design called Platter of Friendship that was inspired by a Hungarian tradition in which friends send each other plates of food. Dombon-a-tanya’s design includes eight different platters for different occasions and lets you turn everything from a bottle to a cantaloupe into a unique serving experience. I love the champagne bottle idea, but you can check out and shop the full series right here online. Thanks to Petra for sending this over! xo, grace
