I typically prefer real animals to two-dimensional ones, but sometimes the images are compelling enough to draw me in. These pillows from East Camp Home feature beautiful photography by Valerie Shaff (I featured her black and white farm series in 2009). Valerie collaborated with Lucy Bohnsack to form East Camp Home, which launched this series of pillows just in time for the holidays. Each 20″ x 20″ pillow has a 100% cotton muslin lining and 100% linen back. The front has a digitally printed version of Valerie’s photographs and is filled with a high-quality fiber fill (East Camp Home doesn’t use any animal products in their designs). You can check out the full collection and shop online here, and if you order a pillow, be sure to plant the label — it’s made with recycled paper embedded with wildflower seeds! xo, grace

These are just beautiful, & what a nice touch the wildflower seeds are – brilliant idea
Beautiful!
Spina in London (http://www.spinadesign.co.uk/) make pillows and interior accessories with real feathers. A lot of their stuff is over the top, but they have some tie-backs that are pretty cool and remind me of the simple contemporary nature of these pillows – especially the first ones with doves.

absolutely stunning ladies!!!
Beautiful – especially the peacock one – and that yellow & cane chair…
The yellow and cane chair is what I’m upholstering! I knew they existed somewhere outside my house. Most comfortable chair EVER!
And the peacock pillow is fabulous!
Gorgeous! What a fantastic idea!…
