new online shopping: amelia

Just about this time last year, we featured a Sneak Peek with Erin Abbott, and then she wrote our D*S guide to Oxford, Mississippi. This tiny southern town has a lot going for it, including Erin’s store, Amelia. But after the Design*Sponge at Home 30-city book tour, it’s going to be a while before I get on a plane again. So I was thrilled to learn that Erin just launched her online store. She specializes in quirky handmade items and even has a small vintage section on the site. — Amy Azzarito

  2. lauren says:

it’s a great little store, glad it’s online now.

  3. Mark says:

I love it! Thanks for the recommendations. Online shopping is definitely the way to go. If you procrastinated like I did there is still hope. I just discovered at http://www.giftsjustunder.com you find Amazon gift card that you can either print from your home printer, share on Facebook, send via email, or have them deliver it FREE next day strait to your recipient’s address.

  4. stephania says:

    Love, love, love those earrings!

  5. Noémie says:

Love that bag!!! It’s sold out unfortunately… Restock?

  6. i’m using open-cart, now i’m trying to find some extensions that can make the customers choose and buy the products in the list page, it means that the customers can select many products to buy at once, don’t need to open the products page one by one and click “add to cart:, any body can help me with it?

  7. Erin Abbott says:

@stephania- I will be getting more or those earrings in… just check back after the holidays.
@noemie- Yes, that’s an amazing purse.
I will have more of the purse in, but it will mostly likely look different. The way that artist works is that she gets vintage, recycled leather and makes her line for the season with that leather and then once it’s gone, she doesn’t make anymore like it. I have had a few of those this season, but on my last order, I was only able to get one purse in, which sold in a day.
Thanks for taking a look at the site!
