chris palmer

The winners of this year’s scholarship will be announced today (yay!), so I thought it would be fitting to kick off the day with more fantastic student work. Chris Palmer is studying at Cranbrook and has created some really beautiful furniture so far. I really love his webbed table series- it’s the sort of simple, functional design that has the added bonus of being nice to look at. I’m on the hunt for a new coffee table for the D*S office so I’ve got my fingers crossed that this design will make it to the market. For more information and to contact Chris about his work, you can drop him an email right here.

This is such a great idea! I would love to see something like this for outdoor furniture. I can definitely see this on my mom’s porch or at her parents’ cabin. They’d love it!

  2. Michelle says:

    Wow this is great :)

  3. Joel Borgman says:

Dead rip off of jens risom

  4. Murray Parro says:

wouldn’t call it a dead rip off….maybe inspired by…a revision of style and practicality…
