We’ve had lovely fall weather lately, and I’m excited to get some errands done around the city and prepare a few projects before next week’s holiday, including scouting gift ideas. Nikko Moy of Ashes & Milk will be introducing some new pieces to the collection shortly, and she sent us a little preview. I’m in love with these; they would all make such incredible, luxurious gifts. The print “Matching Oak” by Bryan Nash Gill is $250, and the wood jewelry by Anja Jindrich ranges between $96 and $150. Visit the site here to keep an eye out for these new pieces in coming weeks, and you should also scope out the shop for more lovely, artful gift ideas. See you back here on Monday! — Kate

That print by Bryan Nash Gill is super impressive… I just checked out the site as I HAD to know how he had captured the grain (and in mirror image). Beautiful work. Thank you for highlighting this… there are a number of other beautiful prints he has done in this series on the site. He has taken the idea of “hand” printing quite literally – ink is transferred to paper with the pressure of his fingertips!
One of my favorite things about artist Bryan Nash Gill is his consistent ability to create something extraordinary out of nothing. His experimental techniques to more conventional art materials like graphite or paint always amaze me.
Wauw impressive! Love it!
