ink meets paper QR cards

by Grace Bonney

I love people using technology to connect more deeply with a handmade process or artist. When I was in Charleston last week, a number of people suggested we check out local designers Ink Meets Paper. They created a series of letterpress cards that come with a scannable QR code that brings up a video (on your phone) of your card being made, from sketch to printing. With so many technological advances that take us away from the handmade world, it’s nice to see one that allows you to reconnect with the people (and process) behind design. Thanks to Harper, Fuzzco and everyone else at the Charleston event for suggesting these clever cards. xo, grace
