2011 gift guides: ornaments + trimming

by Grace Bonney

After yesterday’s post on no-buy gift ideas, I thought it would be nice to ease into the season with a little decoration. I love holiday decorations more than gifts sometimes, so I decided to focus today’s roundup on ornaments and trimming (I’m looking for some modern Judaica today, so stay tuned for that). I got a little crazy last night and found close to 100 options, ranging from vintage-inspired glass ornaments to every type of floral and fauna imaginable. Whether you’re looking for something a little retro and quirky or something more sophisticated and glittery, I’ve got you covered with this guide. I’ve grouped things according to theme (including my “put a bird on it” indulgence below), so I hope you’ll be able to find something to suit your style. Happy Holidays! xo, grace
