the blackbird sings

I’ve been a bit of an Etsy fiend lately, but just to browse. Must keep the impulse purchases to a minimum! If there were one item to break my savings streak, however, it’s this gorgeous painted plate by London-based artist Natasha Newton of The Blackbird Sings. The grain of the sycamore wood sets off the delicate painting so beautifully. The fact that I can’t stop staring at the photo is a good indication that I would cherish the real thing. Natasha has many lovely pieces in her shop besides this plate, including some smaller artworks, paper goods and even personalized painted pebbles!
